I have learned so much about my family as I have been working on the old negatives that were my grandmother’s.  This is my mother’s father, Herman Smith.  I asked my mom if they ate those squirrels and she said, “Well, yes!” like it was an unusual question or something!

Wordless Wednesday

Almost finished with my first research trip of the summer!  I visited the Johnson County Historical Museum in Franklin, Indiana and knew I would have a good time when I saw this sign at the front of the only available parking spot!  A very helpful staff and great information discoveries made this a wonderful trip!
